I offer Private and group classes. Initially all classes were held in my home studio, which is equipped with heat and humidity. The pandemic has been challenging and like everyone else I have been inspired to pivot and adapt. These past few months I have held class outside(for larger groups) allowing for social distancing. Whether we gather on my deck, in your backyard or on the beach practicing in nature offers a completely different experience than the intimacy of the studio. Both are amazing!
My job is to hold space while guiding you through your practice. The Venue is your choice. I have been making house calls and teaching through zoom. I strive to accommodate my students. I will meet you where you are, literally and figuratively. My greatest joy is helping my students achieve their personal mental and physical goals.
HotHatha (loosely based on 26+2) and Strength & Balance (gentle yoga designed to help us feel to feel good in our bodies) are moving meditations. I encourage my students to take time for themselves, connect with their breath and explore postures. HotHatha is a static sequence (which has evolved since its inception 7 years ago) that strengthens, lengthens and sculpts your body. Strength and balance through Zoom was designed for those newer to yoga to assist in the aging process by keeping our joints healthly and increasing our flexibility - so, we can continue to move indepepndently. Hybrid is a 60 minute class combining yoga, ballet and barre not heated. BROga was designed for men newer to yoga that might feel more comfortable practicing with their BRO's.
My students are a beautifully eclectic group. Ranging in age from 86 years young to 10 years old. Their motivation is the same across the board – They all want to “feel” better mentally and physically. HotHatha and Beyond is for everybody.
